All the things I've missed....

Things I missed while at College (aka awesome things about home!)

1. When the shower is so hot, you have to turn it COLDER!

2. Following my mom around the house because we know she just wants to spend ALL HER TIME with me!! :)

3. Having a car to drive......everywhere!

4. Real food. Like, oh my goodness. Just opening the fridge and wondering what to have- NOT because there is nothing there, but because there is sooo much in there!

5. No homework. This one should be like....numbers one through one hundred, because how awesome is it to wake up and know you don't have any deadlines by midnight!!!!!

Things I miss while I'm home (aka awesome things about college!)

1. ALL OF YOU :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( I can't wait for Fall to be so near to everyone again!!!!!!

2. A ward full of people I like in the same situation. (I'm stuck between home ward where everyone is "settled," and the singles ward full of creepy people and....well ya know)

3. Partying it up! I know what you're thinking...I was the one who went to bed super early most nights and never hung out late... :) But here there's no one to stay up late with even on the off chance I wanted to! It was always just so busy in our ward. It was awesome!

4. Cooking. I mean, we can cook at home (I'm sure you do much more than I do!) But I miss buying groceries, planning a menu, cleaning our fridge...(haha) and all the fun things we did in our kitchen!

5. Just the little things. I miss running out of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and basically everything else! I miss playing tag down the hall, or all our silly quotes....I miss singing loudly (Megan in the shower... :D) and having birthday parties. I miss our nightly prayers and singing hymns. I miss you guys so much!!!

I hope everyone is doing so well. I know I am still adjusting, but it is certainly going to be a fun summer! See you all soon!!!

Umm...........(not to be confused with 'yum'!!!)

Who knows why we get in these moods, but we were all home so Jena started cleaning out the fridge! And.....yah. Most of it was so horrible we had to throw it away immediately to avoid throwing up, but we got a few good pictures toward the end. How do we let things get so bad? Trust us, Moms, we're not always like this!!

Girl's Night Out!!!!!!!

So this weekend we had the opportunity to go to Christina's house and stay the night with her family. We went late at night and we ate and partied and watched a movie (which everyone fell asleep through...) In the morning we had pancakes, bacon, sausage, bagels, eggs and orange juice!!! Then we just sat around and did nothing, which was so much fun because we had cleaning check later that day and we were going to have to rush to do it. It was soooooo much fun and we had a blast taking pictures too!!!!

Time of our Lives

It's something unpredictable but in the end it's right, I hope you had the time of your life...

How Blessed Are We!

Hey everyone, so if you haven't already heard, we had the opportunity to have President Monson come speak at BYU on Sunday for a CES fireside for young single adults! Christina and I went at 2 pm to wait in line outside in the cold for the fireside that started at 6! We had our blanket, our Ensigns, and our scriptures along with all those other people waiting to have a wonderful time with for those four hours! :) Well we got seats about the 8th row up (not counting the floor seats) and we saved 17 seats for all our friends! It was amazing of course, and one of the best experiences in my life.

Well in addition to that, today we had Elder Holland come speak to us for our regular BYU Tuesday devotionals, and I think that this was the best talk I have ever heard in my life. I didn't get there early enough for good seats, (we had to finish our orange-glazed blueberry scones first...delicious!) But although we were far away, the spirit was so strong and the message was amazing.

So I think I found links to both of these talks so that you can all watch them to hear the exact messages they shared! How blessed we are to hear from our Lord's prophet on such a regular basis!!!

Enjoy,

Eliza

(for this one, you might need to download something if you've never watched BYU TV before, and then just make sure the date is the 13th and the time is 11 am. It doesn't start the devotional til about 6 or 7 minutes in. Enjoy! :D)
